Health is Wealth!!!
When it comes to life, we all
have that one thing we hold sacred, something we refuse to compromise on no
matter the circumstances. For me, that non-negotiable is my health. Over the
years, I’ve become incredibly health-conscious, carefully managing my food
intake and being mindful of what I put into my body.
I’ve significantly cut down on
starchy foods, reducing my intake of white rice and switching to parboiled, millet rice or quinoa at times. I’ve also embraced intermittent fasting, which has become a
regular part of my routine. Fast foods? They’re a distant memory for me now—I
stopped indulging in them a long time ago.
However, maintaining a healthy
lifestyle isn’t just about food. It’s also about staying active, something I’ve
struggled with due to time constraints. I used to practice yoga regularly, but
had to pause because of issues with my wrists. My regular walking sessions also
fell by the wayside, leaving me relying solely on diet to manage my weight.
But as I’ve discovered, this approach has its limitations. Long hours sitting at the office have left me with body stiffness, and I’ve noticed a decline in my stamina. My body is calling out for movement, and it’s time I listen.
That’s why I’ve taken a new step
in my health journey—I’ve signed up for a gym membership and I’m starting
today! It’s time to rebuild my stamina, regain my flexibility, and get my body
moving again. I’m excited to embark on this journey to stay fit, and I’m
committed to making this a part of my life going forward.
